Soft Annealing
Heat to 820-840^oC, cool slowly in furnace. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 110.
Intermediate Annealing
Temperature: 600-630^oC.
Carburizing
Temperature: 840-900^oC.
Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 840-900^oC followed by oil or air quenching. Hardness after quenching is 62 HRC.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 200-250^oC.
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1050-850^oC.
